Can't Come to Wingdoodle? - Online Shopping, of a sort

Are you pouting because you keep seeing the really great specials I keep sending out as secret coupons (click here to sign up for YOUR own coupons)... you don't live anywhere near New Hampshire or you just can't seem to make it up to the store? Yeah, that's really tough! But I am trying to clear out the inventory in the next few weeks, so I could really use your help - and you could probably still use a bunch of holiday gifts, right? Or use this chance to get all your birthday gifts for the year too.

I can't set up an instant online store, but I did the next-best-lazy-person thing... I took photos of all the shelves and walls around the store! I'll post the pictures in a few blog posts with some descriptions. If you see something you would like, send an email to: info@wingdoodle.com and be sure to put "Blog Sale" in the Title. List the items you would like and we'll get back to you with prices. You can apply any of the coupons you have received and everything else (w/o coupon) is 20% off. I will raise the discount as we get closer to closing, but many items are selling out, so there won't be as much choice. The only items that don't get a discount are Zentangle products and my books. (There will be a shipping charge as well).

Sound good? Let's get started - there's a lot of stuff to clear out!

Fruit Salad Bananagram Style

First there was Bananagrams now there is Appleletters and Pairs in Pears. It's a fruit salad of word games.

The fast moving word game Bananagrams consists of 144 ivory-like little tiles in a funny zipped banana pouch. Players place tiles face down on the table and randomly select 21 tiles. The players turn their letters right-side up simultaneously and proceed to form as many intersecting and interconnecting words as possible from their own letters, which can be rearranged as many times as desired throughout the game.
Appleletters come in an apple-shaped pouch with a soft, zip-closed top that includes 110 tiles with red capital letters that maybe used to play three different games. In Appleletters, for two to six players ages 5 and up, players alternately add tiles to the first or last letters of the word in the middle of the table creating a continuous "snake" of new words. Apple Turnover, 2 to 4 players ages 7 and up, is similar to Appletter. However each player begins with 21 letters instead of nine, and may actually replace an opponents word with a longer word. The goal is to be the first player to get rid of tiles. In Applescore for 2 to 4 players ages 7 and up, players build words as long as possible in crossword-like fashion and get bonus points for length, palindromes and going out first.
Pairs in Pears come complete with capital tiles featuring various designs (dots, lines, blank and solid) this comes packaged in a zip-open pear-shaped pouch with a hanging rope (stem) at the top. It is designed to help kids work on cognitive skills and memory as well as the order of the alphabet, vocabulary and rhyming as they practice forming words.
