Spooktacular Munny Contest!

October is halfway over and all of us at Wingdoodle are looking forward to our Halloween Party! Make sure to stop by the store on October 28th from 6-8pm to enjoy some delicious food and see all of our Munny Contest Submissions!

If you haven't already, you should decorate a Mini-Munny figure to display at Wingdoodle for the party. The grand prize is a $100 Gift Certificate to Wingdoodle. Who will your Munny be for Halloween? Maybe a favorite character from a movie or a book? Bring your costumed Munny in for the contest. We have little prizes for anyone who comes in costume to the party too!

Sandy's Lilah Bean Contest

Take a look at this army of Bots on the Sharpie Marker blog. I want an army of MINIONS!  That's right, send in the Lilah Beans! So, if you want to play (and win stuff), here are the rules: • Make a LILAH BEAN. It can be made out of anything that will stand up - cardboard, fabric, domino, fome-cor, polymer clay, shrink plastic... anything that won't rot or smell. • The finished piece must be 6 inches or smaller. • Sign the back! • The Lilah Beans will not be returned (They become my property. Munny Customization Winners

Congratulations to the designers of our winning Munnys - Christina Hurley (Birdeer) is the grand prize winner of our $100.00 gift certificate, Mary Watts (Tiabeth of Fern) won a $25.00 gift certificate for the best adult entry and Corey Bouthiolette (Moo) won a $25.00 gift certificate for the best junior entry  It was a great party and so much fun seeing all the entries.   A special thank you to all of our contestant, to everyone who voted, to Kay for running the contest and to the staff of Wingdoodle, it was great team effort.

Entries for our Munny Contest

We had 13 entries in our Munny contest, 5 adults and 8 juniors.  It was so much fun and the customizations were as imagative as they were diversed.  I will put pictures up of the party and the winners probably Monday but I just had to put up the pictures of the entries today.  It was all very exciting and fun and the birthday cake was delicious. We will be doing it again for Halloween so put your thinking cap on and start designing now. Also Krysten will be offering a special class on how to customize your Munny in August, so watch the blog for information. 

Birdeer Munny

Wingdoodle's tag line is "Where great ideas take flight!" and this is a great example of an idea taking flight.  This little guy Birdeer was dropped off yesterday at Wingdoodle to join our other entries for the Munny contest. It even has little Birdeer eggs in the nest she built!  All the information for the contest is on our blog just click on Contest.  We can't wait to see what other ideas people have come up with for customizing their Munnys.  This is just too much fun!  Don't forget the deadline is noon Saturday June 25th.  The party is between 4pm and 6pm.  People are going to have a really hard time voting on a winner.  Even if you don't have an entry come by and help us celebrate our 10th anniversary, have cake and vote on your  favorite customized Munny.

10th Anniversary DIY Munny Customization Contest Entries

These cute little guys have come to visit Wingdoodle till June 25th.  You can see them in the front window of the store.  These are the first of many Munnys we are expecting to receive for entry into the DIY Munny Customization Contest.  If you have not picked up your Munny to customize yet we still have some left in the store.  I will post more pictures as we receive the entries.  Thank you guys for dropping your Munnys off early so that  everyone can enjoy looking at them.

10th Anniversary DIY Munny Customization Contest

Draw, melt, paint, glue, sew and sculpt your Munny!  Buy a Mini-Munny from our  store and decorate it by the deadline for a chance to win our grand prize of a $100 Gift Certificate and for a sure chance of having a blast!  You can create your Munny within one of our theme categories or you can come up  with your own idea!  Bring your Munny into the store by the deadline and take it home with you after our prize party on June 25th.

-You must bring your finished Munny and your contestant form to  the store before noon, Saturday  June 25th.  If you finish early, you can bring it to the store and we'll display it in our front window until the party!
-Must be present at the anniversary party  to win.
-Mini-Munnys of any character or color can be used.
-When you submit your finished Munny we keep it safe in our store until the party when you can take it  home!

News from Wingdoodle

The store has been inventoried and everything is rearranged so it looks like a new store. We all worked really hard to get it all done in 2 weeks so that we could reopen. Everything looks fresh an clean now. All the stamps are rearranged so that you will see stamps that you have never seen before. We have spent the last week and a half writing orders and sending them in. Wingdoodle will be getting a lot of new products. A Muse stamps will be coming too. We are really excited about this company and hope to have the stamps in the store by the beginning of February. We are also getting a lot of Tim Holtz's Distress products, new Penny Black, HeroArts, and Rubber Soul stamps. We will be carrying a lot more pre-cut cards and matching envelopes in a wonderful variety of colors, from Hero and from A Muse.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and Wingdoodle will be doing Valentine make and takes on Saturday morning. This past Saturday we did Valentine treat bags which came out really cute and everyone had fun. Next Saturday, January 30th we will be making shaker cards. Come by and join the fun on Saturday mornings and pick up whatever you need to make your Valentine's cards. We are a full service stamp store so you can pick up your stamps, inks, glitter glue, markers, embellishments and cards to make your own Valentine's cards.

Our coloring contest for Christmas was such a success that we are having another one to celebrate Valentine's Day. You can stop by the store and pick up a copy of the picture or download it at http://www.beezinkstudio.com/. All entries must be in the store by February 11th. We will announce the winners after Warner's annual Valentines Day fun day. This year's theme is "Find the Hearts of Warner". Last year's festival was a big success and a wonderful break in the winter. We hope this year will be even better.

Wingdoodle's Coloring Contest Winners

first Wingdoodle Coloring Contest. We had so many colorful and creative entries that Kay and
Sandy decided to have more then 4 winners. As a big thank you to everyone who entered and made our first contest so successful, Wingdoodle is sending out a coupon worth $5.00 in Wingdoodle dollars.
