Impression Obsession Branches and Alcohol Ink

This card came out so cool I had to share it.  I thought it would make a great Halloween card, kinda dark and moody.

I used Inkssentials Gloss Paper, Adirondack Alcohol Ink in Cranberry, Terra Costa, Butterscotch, Lettuce and a little bit of Gold Mixative.  Put whatever combination of colors you like on a piece of felt attached to an Alcohol Ink Applicator and pounce onto your glossy paper.  Use a little Alcohol Blending Solution to lighten or move your colors.  When you get the desired affect stamp your image.  I used the new Branches Cover a Card on a Mega Mount.  Ink it up really well with Staz-on black ink and stamp.  Make sure your ink pad is really wet and also your stamp is inked really well.  Then cut and layer.  It is a 10 minute card and very easy.
Have fun with this and try different colors and stamps.  Making your own backgrounds with alcohol inks and glossy paper is so much fun.  Just make sure you use either Staz-On on your glossy paper or you emboss it, anything else will not dry right and will smudge.
